Home of the University of Oregon....the Ducks.
Bicycle mecca of USA ........so it would seem. Bikes everywhere and the city is setup to provide for them. You can ride almost any street and feel like you are welcomed.
Kind of a dirty town without really being trashy.
Where there are flowers, they are beautiful.
Home of 17 vegan restaurant. We tried a few. Liked some, didn't care for others.
So far we have been there to ride our bikes around the parks twice. They were nice bike rides so may go back before we leave.
Great people....we thought our iPad was dead. The Mac guy kept his store open longer to help us out. Even called us as we were struggling to find our way to his place. He waved at us as we were on a access road on the other side of heavy traffic.....finally found our way. The iPad just needed a quick fix.....no charge! Eugene....home of the Ducks has won our hearts!
